In the lesser curvature region of inner part of gastric mucousa shows longitudional folding which forms a cannal. The cannal is called the gastric cannal. The liquid we consume first passes through gastric cannal before reaching the other region of stomach. Therefore gastric cannal is the most probable region to be affected by alcohol.
